ICE: Dragon Clan by Skye Jones

51GmCMOGKDLWhen a tough, ice-cool cage fighter meets her match in two hot as sin dragon shifters, the sparks fly.

Ice is a tough cage fighter who has spent her life closed off and mostly alone. As a child, she experienced moments where she burned others with a mere touch. These strange experiences terrified and confused her, but she knows if she keeps her emotions under control the burning doesn’t happen. This iron self-control has made her a fearsome opponent in the ring.

When two sexy as sin strangers enter her life, telling her they can shed light on her mysterious ‘gift’, her world is turned upside down.

Nathan, leader of the Scottish Dragon clan, is shocked to find Ice, a dragon female, living in the human world. Not only is she unaware of her heritage, she is also a match made in heaven for Nate and his bonded male, Dom.

When Nathan calls him to the city to meet their mate, Dominic is immediately smitten. As Ice spends time with the two males, it becomes clear they all share a mutual desire but are too scared to act on their feelings.

Can their heady, lust-filled nights lead to a lasting commitment and happiness for all three?

Ice can be read as a stand alone. It is a MMF, shifter menage novel. HEA guaranteed.

REVIEW:

Since I’ve gotten on this paranormal fix of mine (never used to like them) I have fallen in love with Wolves, Bears, Lions, Tigers, Panthers, but I couldn’t find a Dragon shifter romance that I’ve been able to get into. Well, loving Skye Jones work, and seeing she had a dragon series out, I took the leap. BOY HOWDY! What a ride!

ICE is not at all what I thought it’d be going on. The others I’ve read have spent far too much energy on trying to explain the dragon’s background rather than the dragon or story. Not ICE. ICE started out grabbing you by the shirt and pulling you toward the book.

Ice is a fighter and she’s good. Fighting saved her life. After a horrible moment in her past, fighting helped ground her, helped center her confusion and emotions. Everything carefully placed under an icy layer inside in chest.

Because of this discipline, she became a top competitor heading for Amateur Championships for cage fighting. It was in this match that sent her to the championships that changed her world forever.

Nathan was the leader of his clan. Here, he was stuck a fight because the man that helps manage his assets insisted he come along. Hating being there changed when he scented his mate. Not just his mate, but the third leg in his triad.

Dominic is Nathan’s bonded male. Each male has a bonded male and then a female mate out there somewhere because women are rare. Dominic was resistance to the whole male bonding thing being quite a bit younger than Nathan, who was centuries old. But the minute that Nathan finds their female mate, everything changes for everyone.

There was so much emotion in this book. Ice having grown up never feeling like she belonged. Nathan wanting is bonded male, but can’t have him. Dom trying everything to adjust to a new life in Nathan’s clan.

Skye Jones does an amazing job giving you a story with just enough to keep you turning the pages. Nathan learns a lot about himself and his mates. Ice learns a lot about her heritage, her place, her soul. Dom finds himself and leaves the confusion behind and evolves into a life that is everything he could possibly wish for.

I could not stop reading this book (only when I had to adult or sleep). I would strongly suggest this series to all that love paranormal and want an EXCELLENT dragon shifter book to read.

Hoping to get Book 2 soon!
