To Eris – Human (Book 1 Payton Chronicles) by Ann Snizek

Wow! I couldn’t put this book down once I started. It’s addicting.

Okay this is the first book I’ve read by this author and I’m hooked. I loved this book from start to finish. I connected with the main character, Eris, right away. The hero, Nelson, was so kind and patient and unbelievably supportive. It’s the kind of man any woman would dream of. Nelson’s family is great and the friends she meets; Greeley, Keeley, Eithyn, Ciara, Taylor, so on… Quinn was my next favorite character. His strength and personality is addicting.

Book 1 starts out with a flashback to when she remembered her life fell apart. Eris was always the outcast, never the popular confident girl. She was constantly moving from place to place, hardly settling long enough to make friends. All Eris knew were pain, loneliness, longing, and loss. She always felt like the freak girl.

Then she becomes pulled into the group of popular kids after being hit in the head with a football. It was then that she saw a man that intrigued her, but seemed odd. When she asked her new found friends about the guy, she once again became the outcast. But that man gave her a friendship she always desired.

Eris is lead to her past, her beginning really, when she met Nelson. The author takes you on the journey of self-discovery. More importantly, the author led you on a journey of the paranormal and a slow burning passion that develops between the main characters.

I can’t wait for book 2. I’m not a patient person when it comes to waiting for books *sigh* LOL I hope she hurries! LOL
